Technology Education at Eyer Middle School includes various aspects of technology. Our goal is for the students to develop a sense of independence by using valuable problem solving skills that can be applied to everyday life.

Our 6th Grade program includes biotechnology (hydropnics), technical drawing, and a problem solving activity. Throughout the course the students to experience an exposure to computer aided design CAD.

In 7th Grade we apply CAD and technical drawing skills to a problem solving activity involving projectiles. The 7th grade visual communication portion of the curriculum includes digital photography and video production on iMac computers.

The 8th Grade program continues the tradition of problem solving activity, but incorporates CAD and manufacturing in the process.
