School breakfast will energize your child’s day and provide them with a healthy start. A nutritious breakfast helps students be more alert so they can learn more in class, and has plenty of vitamins and nutrients for a strong and healthy body.
There are some great incentives for students who participate in the breakfast program during the month of March. Click here for more details about our breakfast program.
Beginning Monday, January 6th, 2014, external doors to the building will be kept locked until 7:15am. Students being dropped off or arriving prior to that time will not be able to access or enter the building. Thank you for your cooperation with this procedure.
We are a “giving network” linked by phone and e-mail and activated by student needs at Eyer. Receiver students or their families can request short-term assistance through Eyer Middle School Administration. The Eyer Middle School Angel Network Committee then obtains resources through fundraising and volunteer Angel Givers. For more information on becoming an Angel Giver or Angel Reciever please click here.
Effective Monday, October 7, 2013, middle level students WILL be permitted to carry water in a clear plastic container.
Parents can now update their basic contact information on Home Access Center. Please be sure to check your address and phone number and update if necessary. This will ensure you will receive communication from the school - either by mail or by phone. Mike Kelly, Principal
The faculty and staff at Eyer welcomed parents and students to the 2013-2014 school year with a "WOW" year at Eyer. (This means we had a theme for the year and there were many events and activities scheduled throughout the school year incorporating our theme.) I was excited to announce this year’s theme was "EYERWOOD," with a focus on all things Hollywood, including movies, music and sports. We kickied off the first day of school, in true Eyerwood fashion, with a full schedule of team building, problem-solving and other fun activities. These activities required students to be active and to move around quite a bit.
We look forward to seeing familiar- as well as new- faces everyone on Monday, August 25, 2014 - and wish you a fun summer!
