About Shoemaker

Shoemaker Elementary School and the community as a team, will teach students how to learn while providing academic opportunities and direction so that every student will achieve his/her highest potential and be prepared for life in a changing world. We will create and maintain a safe environment with a nurturing and knowledgeable staff.
Shoemaker School is the largest of 7 Elementary Schools in East Penn School District located in Macungie, Pennsylvania. Shoemaker School was built in 1970 and was named for William A. Shoemaker, who was a school board member. Shoemaker is a K through 5 school presently housing approximately 715 students, 100 staff members, 28 classes and 4 special education classes.
