Mrs. Wikert 
Welcome to Elementary Health, Wellness and Fitness with Mrs. Wikert!
During the 2012-2013 school year, I will be teaching at Macungie and Shoemaker Elementary School. I will teach all health and physical education classes at Macungie. At Shoemaker, I will teach all the health lessons for grades 1-4 and a few physical education classes on Thursday afternoon.
A little bit about me:
I completed my BS in Health and Physical Education at Lock Haven University in 1998. I also have my M.S. in Health Education from Penn State, which I completed in 2003. I am currently working on my Educational Leadership degree from Wilkes University.
My teaching career started in the West Shore School District in 1999, where I taught middle and elementary health and physical education. In 2005, I became a member of the elementary Health, Wellness, and Fitness teaching staff in the East Penn School District.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two sons Taylor and Kendall, dog and turtle. In the fall, we are usually found in State College cheering on the Nittany Lions. Throughout the year, we are cheering on Taylor, who plays football, basketball, and lacrosse. We also enjoy running, and the entire family (except the dog and the turtle) enjoys entering races throughout the Lehigh Valley.
