Welcome Class of 2011-2012
First Day of School
Please bring a backpack and a 5th grade level chapter book to read.
Supplies for 5th Grade Students
Students will use:
- a blue folder w/ 3 holes and 3-5 subject notebook for math
- a red folder w/ 3 holes and 3-5 subject notebook for language arts
- a yellow folder w/ 3 holes and 1 suject notebook for social studies
- a green folder w/ 3 holes and 1 subject notebook for science
- a backpack
- an extra set of pencils (3-5)
- a binder for the homework, math, science, social studies and language arts folders (great for organization)
All other supplies will be provided by the district, including homework folders, homework planners, glue, crayons and various supplies.

Parents may check this everyday after 4pm. Unless there is some unusual event, our daily assignments will be posted each day. Students must fill in their book each day. This link is for parents to compare with their child's assignment book. This will show you very clearly if they are copying their assignments down each day.

What should my son or daughter bring home each night?
Students should bring home the following items every night:
-their assignment book (please read and initial this each night)
-a chapter book to read every night, including weekends
-their folder binder with all 5 five folders inside
If they do not, they will most likely be handing-in an assignment late.
