Welcome to Speech!

The ability to communicate is at the heart of the educational experience.

A child’s ability to speak and listen, and eventually, read and write, form the

foundation of learning.

I am very excited to work with you and your child. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, I work with many students at Wescosville Elementary School.  A general guide to inform students, teachers, and parents about typical speech disorders and practice activities for home can be found here:

http://www.eastpennsd.org/teacherpages/kbarnes/General Information About Speech Disorders.html

Children are very precious and I appreciate your willingness to assist your child with his/her speech and language development.

Your child will not receive homework at the conclusion of every speech session.

However, when homework is given, your child will require assistance to complete the assignment.

After completion, please sign your child's assignment as he/she will be eligible to receive a "bear buck" to exchange for various rewards.
