                                    My Professional Background

I am a graduate of the "original" Parkland High School in Orefield, PA. My undergraduate degree is from Bloomsburg University (PA), where I was the two-year president of the English honor fraternity, Sigma Tau Delta, and the student representative for the English Department. My first Master's Degree from Kutztown University (PA) is in English. The second, also from Kutztown, is in Library Science.

My work as a library media specialist in the East Penn School District began at Emmaus High School in the fall of 2007. Prior to my employment in the district, I taught English for twenty-one years at Whitehall High School (PA), where over the years I had also been a commencement speaker coach, the Zephyr newspaper instructor, the assistant director for the spring musical, the English Department Head and the four-year advisor to the fabulous WHS Class of 1998.

My professional "home" as of 2007.
