Vocabulary

Robust Vocabulary

Each story has 8-10 Robust Vocabulary words. These are words the children need to be able to define. They do not have to know how to spell them or read them. I will read the words to them during the test.

Other Vocabulary

On the study guide you will see additional vocabulary words. These are sight words. The children need to know how to read these words. The definitions are included on the study sheet, but the children are not responsible for defining or spelling these words. On the test, the children will be asked to fit these words in a sentence.
