Service Hours

After attending service events, you should make sure to sign in that you attended the event at the next Key Club meeting. Your hours will be recorded according to the sign in sheet, so please don't forget to sign in after attending events to ensure that you receive your hours.

Here is the information that you will need for the upcoming school year.

Important information for ALL members:

Dues:

  • Early Bird Special: $16.00
  • Last Chance: $18.00

 Hand in your dues by:

  • Early Bird Special Dues: September 17, 2012
  • Last Chance Dues: October 11, 2012
  • Make checks payable to: Emmaus High School

 4 hours are required for every month

  • All of the hours will be due the last Thursday of every month.

Service hour requirement exceptions:

  • 3 hours every month IF you play a school sport (only during months it occurs) or are a member of the school plays or school bands.
  • A maximum of 1 hour will be allowed for every month for any non-Key Club hours.
  • Each non-Key Club hour requires a note explaining the event and a signature.

 You MUST attend at least 1 meeting a month. 

  • Each meeting attended after that is worth ½ an hour of service 

 In order to receive credit for monthly service you must keep track of your hours on the Log Sheet at the meetings.

  • You must complete ONE Kiwanis hour during the school year as well.

Responsibilities of your officers:

President: Krupa- Overall questions about hours and suggestions, runs meetings

Vice President: Kayla- Attendance, oversees Committee Structure

Secretary: Matt- Writes up hours service sheets, totals service hours, selects “Key Clubber of the Month”

Treasurer: Nick-Collects all dues, fees and fundraising money

Editor: Pooja- Creates club newsletter, posters, and advertising for the club

 

Your Advisors

Mrs. Teles-Carl (Room 365): All service sheets are kept in her classroom.  Questions/Concerns, extra forms are available in her room.

Mrs. Wells (Pool Deck): Go to her with any questions about Key Club.

 

Membership Information and Dues

In order to be a member of Key Club, we need to receive your information and dues.

Please upload your information ASAP online. When you turn in your dues, please attach a piece of paper to the money or check that has your name and homeroom on it so we know who it belongs to.
