Math is not a spectator sport. Students will need to actively participate and pactice in order to be successful in the long run. Homework is given daily with possible exceptions of quiz or test dates. Students are expected to complete the homework with work shown to receive credit. Students should also review their notes and prior homework on a regular basis in order be prepared for tests and quizzes. Just completing homework is not enough. The practice helps to put the information in the long term memory. Students should use the math help room, NHS peer tutoring, and study groups to get help when they are having difficulty as soon as they having difficulty with the subject. Do not wait until you have already failed to start to get help.
