What Do I Need?

What Will I Need?

2 inch binder with clear protective cover

This will be used as our Boomerang communication log. Choose a solid color if possible.

Pencil Box

Students should have a small pencil box that can fit inside their desk. It will be used to organize their personal things in their desks; such as pencils, erasers, and other special coloring tools they decide to bring to school.

*FYI: Each child will be supplied with a box of crayons, scissors,  glue bottle and glue stick which will be housed in their toolbox.

Folder with a 3 Hole Punch

This folder will be used inside the binder. The school provides a folder for homework, but I would like the students to choose a folder that they can use to bring home their completed work.

Water Bottles

There are designated times to use the water fountains to eliminate distractions; however students may bring in water bottles that can be kept at their desks. The water bottles must be filled with water only.

Highlighter

1-2 Highlighter markers. Your child’s choice of color.

Several Pencils

I provide pencils on the first day of school and then additional pencils as needed. Your child may bring in pencils of their choice for use at their desk as well.

Suggestions for other school supplies:

I have markers, however some students like to bring in special markers and/or colored pencils that they have at home. Other choices to bring to school:

 4 – 5 Sharpened pencils each month

 1 package of post-it notes

Organization Tip

It is always helpful to mark your child’s name on their personal items such as toolbox, book bag, jacket, or lunch bag. The lost and found bin grows quickly when items are not labeled.
