Below, you will find some things that you and your child can work on before and during kindergarten. Working on these tasks will help your child have a successful year in kindergarten!

• Learn to tie shoes and button/zipper/snap clothing
• Learn to remove outer clothing (coats, hats, gloves, etc.) and hang it up
• Recognize his/her first and last name in print
• Practice telephone number and address
• Learn where the bus stop is and what to do in case you are not there
