School backpackSupplies

Here is a list of school supplies that are required for the school year to help students stay organized and prepared for school!  Please let me know if you are unable to supply any of the listed items.

  • An extra folder - any design or color will do.  *Students will be receiving an orange homework folder on the first day of school from the Wescosville PTO that will be used daily between school and home.
  • A pencil box, case, or pouch that will fit easily into your child's desk.  This will be used to contain pencils, erasers, a small pencil sharpener, crayons and a glue stick.  I will be providing all items on the first day of school, except for a glue stick and any extra pencils.
  • Extra pencils
  • Glue Stick
  • A healthy snack - We will be eating lunch early this year at 11:10 am, so we will have an afternoon snacktime so that the children don't go for a long period of time without eating.  I will be making suggestions at "Meet the Teacher" night, but please avoid foods with peanut products as we have a number of students in the building who have peanut allergies.
  • A backpack to carry folders and books to and from school

The following is a list of items that are not required, but are helpful to have throughout the year:

  • A dry erase marker and an eraser, sock, or small piece of cloth for use on our mini white boards.
  • A pencil sharpener that can fit inside their pencil box or case.
  • A set of markers
  • Hand sanitizer - medium to large-sized (these will not be kept on individual student desks, but in a community area so that we can share when needed.)
  • A water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day - bottles should have a straw or sipper top.  Please do not send bottles that have a cap that screws on or off due to spills. (Our classroom does have a water fountain in the room if your child does not have a water bottle)
  • Tissues
